Happy Anniversary, CliffDwellers! It’s hard to believe, but it’s been a whole year since our first issue of CliffDweller Magazine was published. We feel so privileged to represent our wonderful community through the magazine, and we want to thank you sincerely for your outpouring of support for what we do.
To commemorate our anniversary, we bring you both a special section highlighting our writers and advertisers, and a gallery of reader-submitted photos. Take a look at all the places you’ve brought CliffDweller over the past year. . . and continue sending us your pictures!
Also in this issue, “In Focus” brings you the full story on the Oak Cliff Transit Authority, set to bring old-time trolleys back to the Cliff. Read all about how a streetcar system may be just what we need to encourage and support ripe retail development throughout our community.
And finally, we profile two Oak Cliff standbys this month: Aunt Stelle’s Sno Cones and the Pan-African Connection. Chances are, even non-CliffDwellers have seen or heard about these classics. Learn their histories, and how they’ve helped make the Cliff the unique place we love.
Thanks again for your overwhelming support over the past year. We look forward to a long future with you.
See you round the Cliff.
