The last time we wrote about Dry Soda, the company had only four flavors. But owner Sharelle Klaus told us she had a couple more up her sleeve that would be released sometime in 2008.

Sure enough, on a recent trip to Central Market, I spotted Juniper Berry and Vanilla Bean. The first "delights the senses with the distinct clarity and herbal spirit of the juniper berry", and the second "calms with the smooth earthy flavor and pure aroma of the Madagascar vanilla bean", according to the Dry Soda website.

I’m a fan of the rhubarb, but other flavors like lavendar and lemongrass … not so much. (I know other people who prefer those flavors, so it’s a matter of taste.) Because of this, I feel safer trying the new flavors at another of the company’s retailers, like The Soda Gallery, or one of its restaurants, like Cafe Madrid, that way I can try just one instead of buying the 4-pack for $6.99 (though Central Market had them on sale for $4.99 last time I checked).
