Not-so-happy New Year to Time Warner Cable subscribers in Dallas

If a deal between Time Warner and Viacom isn’t reached by 12:01 a.m. this morning (right after the champagne toasts, sloppy kisses and  "Auld Lang Syne" renditions), then any Dallas residents who subscribe to Time Warner Cable will lose 19 channels, including Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and MTV.
