All I have to say is: Best. Sweet. Potato. Fries. Ever.
I haven’t tried the sweet potato fries at every restaurant in the city, but I can say that each time I dine at a place with sweet potato fries on its menu, I order them. And nowhere have they tasted so good than at Tillman’s Roadhouse. It might have partly been a texture factor — they were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, instead of one or the other — but I’m guessing it had something to do with the seasoning Tillman’s uses. I love sweet potatoes, but I need my fries to be salty, and whatever seasoning the restaurant used was the perfect complement to the potatoes’ sweetness.
Obviously, there are many other appetizing reasons to dine at Tillman’s, but you figure if a restaurant can get the fries right, the rest of the menu is a pretty good bet.
