I confess to not understanding quite how this promotion works, and I’ve been unable to get in touch with anyone who has authoritative information about it, but here’s the DMN has a story about Greiner Middle School’s chance to win $20,000 as part of the New Year’s Parade in downtown Dallas Thursday at 1 p.m. sponsored by Comerica Bank.
Apparently, people watching the parade will be able to vote for their favorite float, and if the Greiner entry wins, the school will receive $20,000 from Comerica. To check out the website where the voting will occur, go to Vote for the Float
