Hot on the trails: Chalk Hill

This trail, which will be built along an old railroad corridor stretching from Pinnacle Park to the Westmoreland DART station, is the one that Dallas County’s Rick Loessberg calls "the first thoroughfare-type trail in the western part of the city."

You can get a better feel for it by viewing the map, which also shows the gap between the proposed Chalk Hill and Coombs Creek trails, where the city and county hope to form a connection in future years.
