The Fort Worth Avenue Development Group, Old Oak Cliff Conservation League and West Dallas Chamber of Commerce have been getting the word out about Monday night’s 6:30 public meeting at the Anita Martinez Recreation Center, 3212 N. Winnetka, concerning the propsed changes to the Beckley/Commerce intersection. City transportation officials and representatives from the Trinity River Corridor Project will be on hand to discuss the project.
Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 5:30 p.m. will be the next meeting concerning the Oak Cliff Gateway. Instead of Hitt Auditorium, the meeting will be held at City Hall, room 6ES.
This meeting of the Trinity River Corridor Project Ad Hoc Committee should reveal a more formulated plan concerning zoning and land uses for Oak Cliff property fronting the Trinity. Another meeting will follow in early March.
