Adamson students gather at Calvario Funeral Home

I drove by Calvario Funeral Home on Davis near Bishop earlier this afternoon, and a side door was open, giving a glimpse inside where young people gathered around a casket, and flower arrangements were plentiful. Dozens of students also were congregated on the steps outside, and others were walking toward the funeral home holding flowers.

I can only guess that this was a viewing for one of the three Adamson High School girls killed in a car wreck right after school on Friday. Their funerals are scheduled for tomorrow morning and afternoon. The students outside seemed so young, and it must be a complete shock that the classmates they had seen at school only three days prior are now awaiting burial.
