• Frankly, I didn’t believe this when I read it. But an Ohio woman admitted she was breast-feeding a child and talking on a phone while driving. Incidentally, police said it’s not illegal to breast feed in public, but that the woman was cited for having a child in her lap while driving.

• The backlash against red light cameras continues. A Duncanville city councilman who got one unsuccessfully tried to get his city’s turned off, noting that the city of 38,000 issued 44,000 tickets at four intersections last year. Also, though only two percent of those who get a red-light ticket appeal the fine, about 1 in 5 who do so wins the case, reports the Star-Telegram.

• Ryanair, the British no-frills airline, is considering charging customers a pound (about $1.50) to use the bathroom. The airline is infamous for its fee-charging and poor customer service, and analysts aren’t sure if Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary is serious. Still, one said that O’Leary might be attempting two for the price of one: Free publicity backed by cut-throat reality.
