We have dicussed Tillman’s sweet potato fries and cupcakes on Back Talk Oak Cliff, as well as Bolsa’s lunch menu and the restaurant’s amazing crushed ice. Both restaurants have announced not-to-be-missed deals in April’s Oak Cliff Advocate (which should be delivered to your doorstep within the next few days):
Bolsa is offering a $10 lunch special, which includes a choice of any sandwich, a cup of soup or mixed greens salad, and iced tea or a fountain drink, available from 11-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Tillman’s is announcing a "cure your recession depression" happy hour, Tuesday through Friday from 4-6 p.m. and Saturday 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. The drink specials include $3 pints of draft beer, $6 varietal wines by the glass, and $5 Ricky Ritas (in the ad’s photo, it appears to be the restaurant’s blood orange margarita). The happy hour includes an on-the-house chip bar, and an a la carte bar menu with special pricing.
