El Tivoli Place—a dairy farm turned country club turned navy personal housing complex—is one of the few neighborhoods north of Davis you might not have heard about. It’s hosting it’s 14th annual neighborhood clean-up day Saturday, May 9 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The clean-up event is a chance for neighbors to get ride of bulk trash and clean certain parts of the neighborhood. In the past, volunteers and neighbors have cleaned out alleys with overgrown weeds, cut branches and trimmed hedges for elderly neighbor’s homes, and picked up trash along the neighborhood’s borders at Plymouth, Davis and Westmount. If you go, be sure to bring a dish for the potluck after 2:00 pm.
