Come for the food and stay for the swap meet. Spiral Diner is staying open late Sunday, May 10 and inviting people to clean out their closets and trade records, movies, clothes, bikes, tools, services and more. Indoor space is limited so it’s first come, first serve until it spills out into the street.
It’s another event benefiting the Phoenix Project, a Do-It-Yourself venue and convergence space, so there is some money involved. Entry costs $5 and raffle tickets are $2. A $100 tattoo credit, a gift basket and gift cards from Spiral Diner and Guitar Center are all up for grabs.
Participants are encouraged to bring a vegan dish for a potluck—the event may be at a restaurant, but the kitchen will be closed.
The swap meet starts when Spiral closes at 7:00 pm.
