This weekend: Rosemont fundraiser, Funrazor for Tank and Bolsa Farmers Market

Get all dolled up Bogart- and Bergman-style for Friday night’s Play It Again Rosemont: A Night in Casablanca. A $35 ticket gives you admission to the Old Red Courthouse downtown from 7-11 p.m., where The Glen Dorsey Band will be swingin’, and dinner will be provided by Oak Cliff restaurants like Kavala, Bolsa, Cafe Madrid and Oak Cliff Pizza. All proceeds benefit the Rosemont Elementary arts program.

Annette Jensen and her fellow stylists at Davis salon Sweet 200 are looking for a few good heads of hair to cut at this weekend’s Funrazor for Tank on Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Haircuts are $50 a piece, and all proceeds will help pay for medical bills for a little boy named Tank, a son of one of the stylists, who needs a liver transplant.

Buy local at Sunday’s farmers market hosted by Bolsa, where 14 vendors will be selling their products right around the restaurant from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. East Kessler resident Floramay Holliday will supply the live tunes. The vendors include Nitschke Natural Beef and Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters, both recently featured in the Oak Cliff Advocate; find the full list after the jump:
