Every day this week, our Back Talk blog is giving away a pair of tickets to the Swiss Avenue Home Tour, which takes places this weekend (May 9-10).

There are eight homes on this year’s tour, including the former home of wrestling’s legendary Von Erich family — click here to read the story about the home, and the tour, in this month’s magazine.

Details about how to win the tickets follows after the jump:

The tour is 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the tour. There’s also a $20 brunch at Savage Park, right in the heart of the historic district, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday (call 214-748-5566, ext. 20, or email  for reservations. Four of this year’s eight homes are on Swiss Avenue, while the other four are on Bryan Parkway, Live Oak and Worth Street.

And if you aren’t lucky enough to win tickets here at Back Talk, you can buy them for $15 in advance or $20 during the tour at Whole Foods in Lakewood, Needless Necessities on Henderson or Talulah Belle in Lakewood Shopping Village.

Advocate Magazines are the presenting sponsor of the tour this year (and last year, too); other major sponsors are WRR 101.1-FM, DFW House & Home, Ron’s Organics and Texas Security Bank.

And now the news you’ve been waiting for: This post is going to appear once each day through Friday at random times between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. — the first email response we receive after the post goes up will receive two free tickets to the tour. You’ll just have to pick the tickets up at our office Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

To give yourself the best chance to win, click here to sign up for the blog’s RSS feed, and you’ll be notified each time a new post is made to the blog — that way, you’ll receive our neighborhood news and information updates right along with the free ticket post.
