Work is underway on Notre Dame Court, a 69-unit apartment complex for low-income seniors. The project is funded by the Catholic Housing Initiative, and is expected to be complete early next year.

The apartments are for people who are 62 and older and earn less than about $20,000 a year. Rent is determined based on income. The site is being leased from the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, and is adjacent to St. Joseph’s Residence, an assisted living facility that serves 50 residents.
