Jung Koh started a dry cleaning business in a small Oak Cliff building in 1988, and she worked there six days a week for 20 years. Last year, she moved her business, Artistic Cleaners, to a new building next door and filled it with new equipment, including an organic dry cleaning machine. And today, she launched a second Artistic Cleaners in the Sierra Vista shopping center.

"I think that’s going to be a good location," Koh said of Sierra Vista. "It’s very busy." She is proud of her shop’s quality and customer service, and is eager to show off perfect cuffs and brand-new steamers. The old building was too small and the old equipment too slow. Now She offers same-day service, free replacement buttons on laundered shirts and, of course, the organic cleaning system, which doesn’t use as many harmful chemicals.

The Korea native came to the United States in 1984. She says she’s found success because of her natural tendency toward perfection. "I’m really picky," she said. "I do the best I can to make customers happy."  As a grand opening special, the Sierra Vista shop is laundering men’s shirts for 99 cents each.
