Kessler Plaza Fourth of July Parade

Kessler Plaza Neighborhood Association is hosting its fifth annual Fourth of July parade at Moss Park. Everyone, from your parents to your dog, is invited to attend and march in this yearly get-together.

The parade will take place on the sidewalk that encircles the park. It will be led by those who are serving or have served in various branches of the military. Parade chairwoman Susan Walker encourages everyone to dress themselves and their family in their best patriotic gear. The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and usually ends by 11, in order for attendees to spend the rest of the holiday with their families. Tom Thumb will donate some of the refreshments, and a boombox will play an array of patriotic-themed music. Contact Susan Walker at for more information.
