Bike Friendly Oak Cliff has miles of red tape to travel before opening its new store. Jeremy Ordaz and crew want to open the Oak Cliff Bicycle Co. on Davis, but the building they leased doesn’t have a parking lot, which means they’ll be doing some time in City Plan Commission meetings.

A couple of new restaurants
are on deck for Oak Cliff: Rush Patisserie is opening in the next week or so, and Huckleberry’s is expected in the first week of July.

"The Hidden City
" is an out-of-print book about Oak Cliff. It’s so popular that used copies sell for $75 or more online, but it’s getting a second run with a new cover design.
