We don’t have information neighborhood by neighborhood, but Oncor spokeswoman Megan Wright tells us that as of 4 a.m. this morning, 145,000 homes and businesses were without power, mostly in Dallas County and northern Tarrant County. That’s down from 260,000 homes and businesses last night, and we should be hearing another update soon — stay tuned.
Anyone without power should call 888.313.4747 or the number printed on your electric bill. Wright says a lot of power lines are down because of the tree damage, and wants to remind everyone to stay away from down power lines, and don’t pick up branches or debris anywhere near them — just call 911.
