"The Texas Issue" of Saveur, which is the foodie magazine’s July issue, mentions several Dallas restaurants, but they skipped Oak Cliff. We scoured the ‘zine for mentions of our favorite Oak Cliff spots like Kavala, Spiral Diner and Tillman’s. But they’re just not there. The magazine’s north-of-the-river picks are good, if a little obvious — Fearing’s and Stephan Pyles, for example. But I would’ve liked to see our neighborhood get a mention.
