Saveur skips Oak Cliff

"The Texas Issue" of Saveur, which is the foodie magazine’s July issue, mentions several Dallas restaurants, but they skipped Oak Cliff. We scoured the ‘zine for mentions of our favorite Oak Cliff spots like Kavala, Spiral Diner and Tillman’s. But they’re just not there. The magazine’s north-of-the-river picks are good, if a little obvious — Fearing’s and Stephan Pyles, for example. But I would’ve liked to see our neighborhood get a mention.

    i totally agree! while misters fearing and pyles have done AMAZING things to help move along texas, and more specifically dallas dining, mentions of the “up and comers” would be more beneficial.
