This weekend: Zoo birthday, water-wise landscape tour, Pink Ribbon Tea and Bolsa farmers market

The Dallas Zoo hosts "Giraffes, Monkeys & Lepperts", an evening with the mayor, on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 3 and older, and free for children under three. Free cake will be served at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the mayor’s birthday.

On Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., take a free tour of water-wise landscapes around the city, including Kiest Park and Lake Cliff Park in our neighborhood.

Methodist Dallas holds its Pink Ribbon Tea this Saturday from 2-4 p.m. in Hitt Auditorium. Women are encouraged to wear hats to the party, which is free, but space is limited so reservations are required (call 214.947.0017).

Bolsa‘s monthly farmers market is this Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the restaurant with 16 local vendors selling and sampling their products.
