The intersection of Zang and Colorado boulevards could remain a little congested for the rest of the summer. The city of Dallas is replacing 600 linear feet of water lines and 700 feet of sewer lines near the intersection. The work is about 60 percent complete, said project manager Luis Bodington. The project requires workers to open about 400 feet of the street.

In August, they are expected to place temporary paving so that certain parts of the underground work site remain accessible. The work is expected to be complete in September.
