The Belmont Hotel already has sold out for July 4, and a big crowd is expected at BarBelmont and the Cliff Cafe. "I was there last year for the fourth, and the patio was pretty well packed, and the restaurant did very well," said Susan Alarcon, the hotel’s general manager.
BarBelmont is having a party from 7 p.m. to midnight with a DJ and that great view of the Dallas skyline and the city’s fireworks show. Alarcon recommends making reservations for Cliff Cafe because it will fill up quickly. Even though the hotel has a full house of guests, a separate party with a band, hot dog vendor and full bar is planned for them at the pool.
If your goal is to find a spot to watch the pyrotechnics somewhere on the hotel’s property, but you don’t want to hang at the bar or restaurant, parking will be available for $10. But get there early.
