A new festival showcasing Oak Cliff is scheduled Nov. 15 in the Bishop Arts District. The festival will highlight neighborhood artisans, both culinary and otherwise. Booths along the district’s streets will be available for a rental/participation fee and are open to any Oak Cliff-based business or artist. An intermediate conversational Spanish class invites newcomers who know Spanish but want to increase their vocabulary and speaking skills. The free class meets Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. in an Oak Cliff home and is taught by Mountain View Community College professor Ramon Preciado.
