Dirt Cheap Yoga launches in Oak Cliff

There is no fulltime yoga studio in Oak Cliff. But now, there’s Dirt Cheap Yoga. Dirt Cheap Yoga, which is a nonprofit that works to keep yoga classes affordable, started offering classes in Oak Cilff this month.

"There are a lot of places in the city that offer yoga, but in Oak Cliff, it’s either expensive or it no longer exists," says Rebecca Gette, the nonprofit’s executive director.

The classes are at Mighty Fine Arts, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Like drugs in a very special episode of an 80s sitcom, the first one is free. After that, single classes are $8, and you can buy 8 classes for $50 and 16 classes for $95.
