This weekend: posadas, kamikaze karaoke, Santa ride

Las Posadas del Pueblo returns to the Texas Theatre for the second year. The show from Oak Cliff Coalition for the Arts includes dancers from Ballet Folklorico Hispano de Dallas, singing and skits. The Saturday night celebration is $5 for children and $10 for adults.

The people at Barbara’s Pavillion know how to make fundraising a blast. The tavern is raising money for Legacy Counseling and Animal Rescue of Texas with Kamikaze Karaoke on Saturday.

Put on an elf costume or your favorite tacky Christmas sweater and saddle up for Bike Friendly Oak Cliff’s Santa Ride Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The ride starts at the new Main Street Garden Park. Bring an unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
