This weekend: flicks, trees, art

We know and love him as the director behind "My Mom Smokes Weed", but Clay Liford’s first feature film ever, which was tied up with a bad distribution deal for years, is now available on DVD. And there is a screening of the movie, "A Four Course Meal" Friday at Keith’s Comics Mockingbird at 5:30 p.m.

Make Space: Installation is a show of  "site-specific works" from artists Kevin Obregon, Scott Horn, Nicole Cullum Horn, Annie Albagli, Brad Ford Smith, David Blood, Oliver Bradley and Sandra Groomer. It’s at La Reunion TX Satruday at 2 p.m. More information is available here. RSVP is required, and is available here. If you go, wear long pants and sturdy shoes because the land is undeveloped.

The Daniel Padilla Gallery is opening an exhibit from Mexican artist Jesus Galvan Saturday starting at 7 p.m.
