This weekend: soup, creative circle, pop art

Got lunch plans tomorrow? The Empty Bowls Luncheon can hook you up with soup, bread and dessert, plus a bowl handmade by a Dallas artist. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door, and all proceeds benefit the North Texas Food Bank. It’s from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Meyerson Symphony Center.

The Friday Night Creative Circle at the Kessler Craftman starts at 7:30 p.m. Bring snacks, drinks and a project to work on. It’s free, and you can mingle with other artists and creative people in Larry Pile’s studio.

The Soda Gallery is opening a show from Dallas artist Robb Conover called "Pop Attractions & Affairs" on Friday at 7 p.m. The show will be on display through March 30.
