The owners of Nova are redesigning the whole interior of the restaurant space that used to be Kavala. That’s probably why it’s taking a little bit longer than they thought it would.
A media release today says they’ll have details about the opening date and new menu, which will include chef Kelly Hightower’s hummus and brick oven pizza, in a few weeks. In the meanwhile, there will be bands, food and art in the parking lot during Oak Cliff Art Crawl.
The release says the redesigned space is "mid-century inspired", and the menu will consist of "carefully crafted, globally influenced plates with entrée specials changing nightly".
