This weekend: the blues, splashdown, flea market

Don’t forget that tonight is First Thursday in the Bishop Arts District — why does it always sneak up on me?

The Cliff Blues Band plays Friday at Cooper’s, starting at 9:15 p.m.

Saturday is the inaugural Hometown Splashdown Trinity Weekend. The main event is the 6th annual Trinity Levee Run, which starts at Trammel Crow Park at 9 a.m. There’s also a canoe race and kayak obstacle course. More information is available here.

The first Saturday flea market at Lee Harvey’s is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
