This weekend: jazz, shopping, cooking, Earth Day

Have you been to the Kessler Theater yet? It’s a thing of beauty. And the Friday night "Jazz at the Kessler" series starts this week with the Rebel Alliance Jazz Ensemble. The band plays at 7 p.m., and admission is $5.

The Oak Cliff Art Divaz spring sale is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Pearl @ Commerce, the venue whose name is also an address. The Divaz will have all manner of hand made wares for sale.

The Live Green Expo at the Plano convention center Saturday features a 5:45 p.m. cooking demonstration with chef Graham Dodds of Bolsa, who will be cooking with Nitschke Natural Beef. The expo is free.

The Oak Cliff Earth Day celebration is noon-5 p.m. Sunday at Lake Cliff Park.
