This weekend: music, parks, gardens, party

Tonight at 7, the Happy Bullets and El Cento perform at the Belmont Hotel.

Country music takes over the Kessler Friday night with performances from the Rueffer Brothers, Randy Brown and Miles Pehnall, starting at 8 p.m. And Saturday, rock bands Giggle Party, Manned Missiles, Noonday Morningstar and the Bizarro Kids perform. Tickets are $10.

The Friends of Oak Cliff Parks will kick off its restoration of Kiest Park WPA trails at 8 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers are welcome. For more information, call 214.331.4758 or email brbrb303@aol.com.

Bike Friendly Oak Cliff’s community gardens ride is Sunday at 1 p.m. and starts at Eno’s.

Raise the Roof, a party at Jack’s Backyard from 3-9 p.m. Sunday, benefits the Turner House. A $10 donation is suggested, and a raffle ticket is $5. Several bands will perform, and there will be food and drink specials.
