This weekend: movie, cocktails, poetry slam, art, beer

Tonight, June 10, the Belmont Hotel is showing “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” at the pool, starting about 8:30 p.m. And there’s a cocktail crawl in the Tyler Davis Art District.

A national poetry workshop and competition starts Friday at 7 p.m. at the Kessler Theater.

Oak Cliff-based artist Lisa Lindholm has a show at Kettle Art in Deep Ellum. The show opens with a reception Saturday from 6-9 p.m.

And Saturday, the festival beer-lovers have been awaiting — Brew Riot, the home-brew festival at Eno’s — starts at 6 p.m. A $20 wristband buys tastings of 11 home brew offerings plus beers from several microbreweries. Plus, there are bands, contests and giant chess boards.
