Even though a plan to move 100 otherwise homeless people into Cliff Manor Apartments is on hold, 18 people are moving from The Bridge to Cliff Manor.
The Dallas Housing Authority is going ahead with a plan to move 18 people from The Bridge to the Cliff Manor Apartments. The housing authority already approved the 18 residents for move-in, and there is concern that preventing the move could be illegal under federal housing laws.
The housing authority otherwise has put on hold a plan to move 100 residents from The Bridge to Cliff Manor following outcry from Oak Cliff residents.
