The city’s auto impound lot on Vilbig in West Dallas would move (out of the neighborhood, we hope) under a proposal to contract a private company to run the lot.
The city-owned Dallas Zoo went to private management last year, and last week, the city manager proposed putting the the Dallas Farmer’s Market in the hands of a private company.
According to the story: “Any firm seeking to take over the enterprise must either operate on a non-city lot already or present a plan to move the operation within three years, city officials say.”
