This weekend: chocolate and graffiti, bike party, music

CocoAndre is hosting Oak Cliff graffiti crew Sour Grapes for an art show and T-shirt release party Friday. It’s been about two years since the last time Sour Grapes has released a T-shirt, and they’re offering only 50. Chocolatier Andrea Pedraza is making 50 chocolate paletas as part of the celebration. The party, from 7-11 p.m. at the chocolate shop, is free.

It is hard to believe that the Oak Cliff Bicycle Co. is only one year old since it already seems like a big part of Oak Cliff life. But it’s true, and the shop’s first birthday party is Saturday from 7-10 p.m. The party is free, and they’ll have $10 raffle tickets for a sweet Swobo bike (go by the shop before Saturday, and raffle tickets are $8).

The Kessler Theater has Deadman, The Cartwrights and Hunter Hendrickson Friday. And Record Hop, Matthew & the Arrogant Sea, Regina Chellew and Pinkish Black Saturday.
