But don’t worry, you don’t need a wristband to get in. The $15 bands are for people who want to be “official tasters” for the competition and vote in the people’s choice award.
Barbecue from Smoke and Luckie’s Smokehouse will be available for purchase, and Spiral Diner will offer vegan food. The festival starts at noon Saturday and goes through Sunday.
Here are the details for the wristbands, from organizer Rob Scherrer:
“The first 200 wristbands will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 11 from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. at the Kessler Theater. You can pay via cash or credit card. The final 100 wristbands will go on sale Sunday, Sept. 12 at 10:30 a.m.”
