If you’re interested in a neighborhood DISD school’s performance across a range of measurements — test scores, extracurricular offerings, college readiness — check out the district’s scorecard page. The results are based on schools’ 2009-2010 information and are surprisingly comprehensive and fairly easy to understand. The stats allow you to compare schools with district average, and you can also see what surveyed parents and students had to say about school safety, homework and overall happiness with the educational experience.
