In case you haven’t heard, the General Election is quickly approaching.  For many Dallas neighborhood residents, this election will determine whether or not Dallas will become a wet or dry county.  The October issue of Advocate discuses the wet-dry battle in depth.

Early voting beings: Monday-Friday, Oct. 18-22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 23 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 24 1-6 p.m.; and Monday-Friday, Oct. 25-29 7 a.m.-7 p.m.  The last day to receive a ballot by mail is Tuesday, Oct. 26.

If you are unsure if you are currently registered to vote, the Dallas County Elections website provides an easy test to find out if you are already registered.  You can also find this information through the Texas Secretary of State website for their statewide voter registration test.
