City Council members, the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas Morning News will discuss the “state of Oak Cliff” beginning at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Orion Ballroom. That’s on the 15th floor of the Oak Cliff Tower.
Tickets are $25 for chamber members and $35 otherwise. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here’s what the invitation says:
Join us for a look at the state of Oak Cliff and what the future has in store. Bill McKenzie of the Dallas Morning News Editorial Board will be our moderator. Bill will kick us off with some remarks about the findings of the DMN north-south studies.
Our panelists include City Council members Delia Jasso, Dave Neumann, and Tennell Atkins. They will be asked to make some comments about issues they feel are most important to Oak Cliff and their respective districts. After that, Bill will ask each council member questions. If time permits, we will open it up to the public for Q&A.
