A story in today’s Dallas Morning News takes a comprehensive look at the city’s upcoming decision regarding gas drilling on public land at Mountain Creek.

Oak Cliff residents, including Raymond Crawford, strongly opposed allowing gas company XTO to get a permit to drill. And on Oct. 20, the City Plan Commission voted against the permit.
