Jingle Bells on Bishop starts tonight, Dec. 2, and the festivities continue through Saturday.
The Texas Theatre is premiering “Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench” at 7 p.m. Friday. That is followed by the last installment of the theater’s Kurosawa series, “High and Low”, at 9:30 p.m. Friday. The theater now sells beer and wine, plus David Lynch Coffee.
The Kessler has something for kids and something for grown ups. The “Atomic Frolic Christmas Burlesque Show” is Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $22 and $30. Saturday there are two Gene Autry-themed Christmas shows at 1:30 and 3 p.m. “When It’s Christmas Down in Texas” features the West Texas Chilren’s Chorus and the Kessler’s own music and dance students. Tickets are $10. The Belleville Outfit performs Saturday at 7 p.m., and tickets are $15.
A 50-member chorus is coming all the way from Lubbock to lead caroling from the Kessler Theater to the Bishop Arts District Saturday, starting at 5:45 p.m.
