DISD asks for budget-cutting ideas

While staring down a potentially $200 million-plus shortfall in state education funding, DISD has been exploring all sorts of cuts to its staffing and budget. The district also wants to solicit money-saving ideas and has created a webpage to collect thoughts. You won’t have much room to vent, since the comment space is limited to 500 characters, but you can leave your name and email address for DISD followup.
