In fact, we were embarrassed by Pittsburgh, which was ranked as the most liveable city in the United States by the Economist Intelligence Unit, which is part of the Economist magazine empire in the UK.

This must have left Mayor Park Cities caught short, since Pittsburgh is one of those northeastern cities he is always ragging on for being so last century.  And I’m wondering how Gov. Perry must feel, since no Texas city made the top 10 U.S. list (let alone the world list). Maybe we can secede from the Economist rankings when we secede from the U.S.
