Cox Farms, a Duncanville grocer specializing in fresh produce and natural foods, has signed a letter of intent to anchor the Sylvan/Thirty development that will be a highlight of the Ft. Worth Ave. corridor. Because I started my working life as a “sacker” at a Kroger store in Houston, I had to visit the store and decide for myself how it would fit into the eagerly-awaited Sylvan/Thirty center. My visit confirmed that it specializes in produce but it also has other food products, both organic and non-organic, and sells bulk items too. The service is friendly and I think it will be welcomed by Oak Cliff.
