The Texas Theatre guys started a production company, Aviation Cinemas, and they are launching a documentary from musician Beau Jennings.
The film, “The Verdigris: In Search of Will Rogers”, follows Jennings on his “journey to find the legend of Will.”
Jennings, an Oklahoma native who lives in Brooklyn, says he’s written many songs inspired by Rogers. And he set out to record each of those songs in the locations that inspired them.
Jennings performs at the Texas Theatre at 6 p.m. Friday. There is no cover, and donations will go toward producing his film.
