Artist Libba Sandusky Davis presents a one-night installation at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The show includes seven live performances — music, dance and poetry — based on her works, starting at 8 p.m. A $10 donation is suggested for Trumpets4Kids, a nonprofit that provides musical instruments for kids who cannot afford them.

The Davis Foundry Gallery has an artist reception for an exhibit, “Myalgia”, by Ely Haeussler, a German-born artist who as a teenager was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and myositis.. That’s from 6-10 p.m. Saturday.
