Our memory of last year’s Brew Riot competition is a little fuzzy. Seems like it was a really good time. Anyway, we tasted A LOT of beer.

This year’s Brew Riot is from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, May 22 in the Bishop Arts District. Organizers expect 20 home brews, plus samples from microbreweries. This year’s riot also includes a “backyard burger throwdown”, which is a sliders competition. Professional and amateur cooks are invited to compete, and since this year’s competition is on a Sunday, we hope to see some pros out there.
