Fine arts society explores the history of women in architecture

The last salon lecture at Turner House this season is from 7:30-9 p.m. Thursday, May 12, “A Century of Women in Architecture: A Short History.”

The Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts presents the lecture from three University of Texas at Arlington architecture assistant professors, Susan Appleton, Rebecca Boles and Norma Figueroa.

They will cover the contributions of women in architecture since 1911. Tickets are $10 for fine arts society members and $15 otherwise.
