Tonight, Thursday, May 19, “Casablanca” is screening at the Belmont Hotel pool. How romantic! It’s free, and the movie starts at dusk (if it’s not pouring down rain).
There is a farmers market from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at the site of the Sylvan|Thirty development. Cox Farms Market, the locally owned grocer that will anchor the development, will be selling produce, cheese and meats. There will also be cooking demonstration from chefs, plus vendors selling crafty stuff like jewelry and soaps. Plus, there will be food trucks and live music.
Brew Riot is from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, May 22. A $20 donation is requested to taste some 20 home brews, plus samples from micro breweries. This year’s riot also includes a burger competition. And the King Bucks will perform.
